Day 01 : Arrive Auckland 

Morning arrive New Zealand. On arrival meet and greet and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free for relax. Evening free to explore city of sails at own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : In Auckland 

Morning breakfast, later full day explore Auckland visiting : Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter, climbing the Sky Tower or relaxing in the vibrant Viaduct Basin – New Zealand’s Americas Cup yachting venue. Dolphin Encounter, Sky Walk. Evening have dinner at Sky Tower at Orbit restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : Auckland - Rotorua 

Morning collect your Self Drive Car and leave Auckland for Rotorua enroute visit guided tour of Waitomo Glowworm Caves, you can also visit Woolshed and see the extraction of wool. Arrive into Rotorua. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free for relaxation. Overnight at Hotel in Auckland.

Day 04 : In Rotorua

Morning breakfast, later visit Rainbow Springs of Rotorua. See the trout pool and a magnificent aviary where you will find the famous Kiwi – New Zealand’s flightless native bird. Also visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute.
Evening an enjoyable way to end the day is with the native Maori Hangi (feast) and concert - a great night’s entertainment! . Overnight at Hotel in Rotorua.

Day 05 : Rotorua – Wellington

Depart Rotorua, return your rental car and fly to Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : In Wellington 

Morning after breakfast, Enjoy time in Wellington this morning, perhaps visiting the excellent Te Papa Museum of New Zealand, taking the cable car up the hill for scenic views of the city, viewing the Parliament and “Beehive” buildings, or taking a stroll along the pretty harbour. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars in Wellington!. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 : Wellington – Picton – Kaikora 

This morning take taxi to the port and board the ferry for the South Island (3 hours ferry). Cruise across Cook Strait and through the tranquil waters of the beautiful Marlborough Sounds to the port of Picton in the early evening. Early this afternoon, travel south on board. On arrival collect your Car and do self drive from Picton to Kaikora breathtaking sights.

Day 08 : Kaikora – Christ Church 

Morning breakfast, later experience Whale Watch tour. Later continue south and arrive Christ Church. Evening free for relax and experience the town on own.

Day 09 : Christ Church – Tekapo 

Morning sightseeing tour of Christ Church. Later on time Self Drive south across the vast Canterbury Plains with its patchwork farming tapestry of livestock and crop farms. Travel through the rolling farmland and towns of Geraldine and Fairlie and over Burkes Pass to the spectacular but desolate Mackenzie Country - named after Jock Mackenzie, a Scottish shepherd who used this secret route to move sheep he had stolen! Arrive into the village of Tekapo on the shores of the aqua blue lake – perhaps enjoy a soak in the lakeside hot pools this evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Tekapo – Mt. Cook – Queenstown 

Early this morning travel past the hydro lake of Pukaki from which, on clear days, there are wonderful vistas of our highest peak, Mount Cook (Aoraki), and the surrounding mountain ranges. Depart the main highway and travel to Mount Cook village in the heart of New Zealand’s spectacular Southern Alps. As well as enjoying the alpine landscape, the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre and Museum is worth a visit.
Join the “Glacier Experience”. Continue south through Omarama and over Lindis Pass into the spectacular Central Otago countryside, renowned historically for gold mining, but in more modern times, for its vineyards, fruit orchards and Merino sheep.
Continue on via the spectacular Kawarau River gorge to beautiful lakeside Queenstown - one of New Zealand’s most beautiful destinations in New Zealand. This evening you may wish to ride the gondola up Bob’s Peak for stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and surrounds. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : In Queenstown - "Milford Sound" 

Today, after your breakfast, we go for a full day trip to Milford Sound. Travel along the shore of Lake Wakatipu beneath The remarkable mountain range before crossing the Southland Plains to Te Anau, the gateway to the Fjordland National Park, now proclaimed a World Heritage Park. Drive through beech forests and glaciated valleys before descending the steep gradient Homer tunnel to the magnificent Milford Sound itself. Take a cruise (weather permitting) out to the Tasman Sea and return in time to enjoy the cascading waterfalls. We drive back to Queenstown via the same route. Overnight at Hotel in Queenstown.

Day 12 : In Queenstown 

A free day in Queenstown – so many options!! Explore the site where bungy jumping was born – a chance for daredevils to take the plunge 150 feet towards the Kawarau River attached only by a giant rubber band! Perhaps visit a Gibbston Valley vineyard to taste some of the fine Pinot Noir and other wines for which this region is highly regarded. This afternoon choose from a number of the local activities such as a jet boat ride, a cruise on the historic steamer, the “Earnslaw – Lady of the Lake”, to Walter Peak Sheep Station, take a hike, shopping or just relaxing by the Lake.

Day 13 : In Queenstown 

Morning breakfast later visit local area including the charming village of Arrowtown, with its boutique stores and galleries. This afternoon you you can explore jet boat ride. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Leave Queenstown

Morning breakfast, later connect flight to Auckland further connect flight for back home.
